Our new pulpit is a replica of Spurgeon’s preaching table which he used early in his ministry at The Metropolitan Tabernacle. Spurgeon the “Prince of Preacher’s” preaching was characterized by two things: the Word and Christ crucified. He believed that all of the “roads of the Scriptures lead to Christ.” May God continue to use GBC to lead people along the roads of the Bible to arrive at Christ crucified! The new pulpit was masterfully crafted by one of our deacons, Rick Campbell.
